I have been running forest school groups for more than 3 years now and have been enjoying every moment of it.
Life has a new adventure for me and I'm off on a maternity leave ! I remain in the background to do the admin for the Forest School though, so I will be the one answering your questions and queries if you contact us.
I am French-German, 32 years-old, and I have been in love with Ireland for about 10 years now.
I studied Psychology, partly in France and partly in Dublin, and Psychomotor Therapy (very similar to Play therapy) in Geneva, Switzerland.
I am a fully trained Forest School Leader, and am currently training as a Play therapist at the moment. These two complementary approaches provide me with a lot of ideas on how to support the children's play and social interactions in the group.
I have worked with children in various settings: community centers, summer camps, crèches, etc. My toolbox is full of playful activities which I love to share with the children of the groups!
I am fully insured to do the work that I do with the children, have a First Aid Outdoor certificate, and I am also Garda Vetted for this role.
I have been happily working alongside Elisa for more than a year now and have enjoyed learning from Elisa and the children while also bringing my own experience to the groups.
I'm leading the groups while Elisa is on maternity leave so you'll see me in the forest !

I've Studied Social Studies and Community Development in Liberties College, completed courses in Art Therapy and Floristry and am an experienced child minder. I am currently training to become a certified Forest School Leader.
My interests lie strongly in Music, Dance and Creativity. I enjoy doing crafts and thinking of sustainable and useful ways we can get creative in the forest.
I hope that my sensitive and playful approach can ensure each child feels comfortable and confident to enjoy themselves while under my care.
I'm Fully insured for this role, Have Garda vetting and have my First Aid Outdoor certification.

Nature is our teacher and together we’re learning about all the biodiversity in this beautiful place. It never ceases to amaze me how happy the children are in the outdoors and their fascination with nature and wildlife. My time with Growing Roots is a perfect match to the studies I’m doing at the moment - a Masters in Outdoor Environmental Education.

I have previously worked as a childminder and some of my favourite topics to study include alternative education, play-centred curriculum, and psychology.
I have a great fascination with nature, especially Ireland’s native animals and plants. I hope to introduce this to the children in a way that is fun and that will encourage a sense of pride and respect for our local environment. My hobbies include crafting, music, and outdoor adventures!
I love working with the children and always do my very best to ensure that everyone feels welcome and cared for in the forest. I am fully insured and Garda vetted for this role and have also completed the TUSLA Child Safeguarding course.
Two camps during the halloween holidays ! One in the mornings and one in the afternoons do "older" children 😉
