Sessions are cancelled in the case of dangerously high winds (exceeding force 6 on the Beaufort Scale) or for Orange/Red weather warnings. Where possible, we will try to reschedule cancelled sessions at another time. This may not always be possible, however.
On rare occasions where the winds pick up during the session, the Forest School Leader will call the parents of the children to ask them to pick them up and the group walks out of the forest.
Sessions may also be cancelled if the FS Leader can not lead the group, due to health reasons for example. Where possible, we will reschedule.
Refund Policy:
Refund requests:
Up to 2 weeks before session start: Full refund.
Up to 1 week before session start: 50% refund.
Within 7 days: No refund, except for serious medical/compassionate reasons.
No refund is given for:
Missed sessions (planned or unplanned).
Weather cancellations due to ORANGE wind warnings (rescheduling may be offered).
